Editorial Standards
ProReviewInsight publishes health, fitness, nutrition, and wellness content designed to support informed decisions. We research topics using relevant, reliable, and authoritative sources, and we aim to distinguish established evidence from emerging findings.
Our content is for informational purposes only and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. When a formal clinical review is conducted and documented, we identify the qualified reviewer and describe their role. The reviewer’s role is to assess the relevant medical or scientific accuracy, context, limitations, and safety considerations of the material within their area of expertise; it does not mean they authored every part of the article, independently tested a product, or endorse every recommendation unless the article states this clearly.
Reviewer Credentials
Reviewers must hold a current, verifiable qualification relevant to the subject they assess and must review content only within their professional scope of practice. Accepted qualifications may include:
- Medical conditions, diagnosis, or treatment: licensed physician, such as an MD or DO, or another appropriately licensed medical specialist.
- Nutrition and diet: registered dietitian or registered dietitian nutritionist (RD/RDN), or an equivalent recognized dietetics credential in the reviewer’s jurisdiction.
- Medications and supplements: licensed pharmacist, such as a PharmD or equivalent local qualification.
- Nursing and patient care: currently licensed registered nurse (RN) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), where the subject falls within their scope.
- Fitness, exercise, and movement: relevant degree or recognized professional certification in exercise science, sports medicine, physical therapy, or a related field, with current licensure where required.
- Mental health: licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional counselor, or equivalent locally regulated mental-health professional.
- Public health and research: relevant advanced degree, such as an MPH, MSc, or PhD, plus appropriate subject-matter experience.
Credentials are disclosed when a formal review is conducted. A reviewer’s involvement does not imply that they authored the article, independently tested a product, provided personal medical advice, or endorse every recommendation. We do not describe content as clinically reviewed unless the review was completed and documented by a suitably qualified professional.
